Development update

The first planning application of four applications lodged, for the scheme has been granted permission in line with the masterplan for Lusk Village Quarter that we outlined in October.  The three further planning applications to complete the masterplan and are currently with Fingal County Council for decision, following a consultation process with the council, details of the scheme are available in the Masterplan section of this website.

The overall Masterplan as presented provides for 16 commercial units including the new Lidl supermarket, a pub and restaurant, cafes, a creche and additional shops. It provides houses and apartments along with a new Village Square, green spaces and play spaces

The village square, as the centrepiece to the development, will have commercial spaces at street level, including cafes with outdoor seating in addition to a pub and restaurant space looking onto the square. As part of this, Lidl has committed to a large supermarket on site which will service Lusk, and the wider area.
